The Smugglers Cottage in Hastings Old Town had a problem as interesting as it’s history. Situated next to a popular fish and chip restaurant, holiday makers would use it’s front verandah as a perch upon which to eat their fish and chips. The owner of this popular holiday cottage wanted to enclose the space for her guests, so we got to work.
